Each driver must anticipate the development of road and transport situation in the first place, to evaluate precisely the danger that may suddenly arise. Obviously, the degree of danger of road traffic conditions directly depends on how long a driver has to eliminate the threat of the event. Slightly hazardous situation - it means that the driver enough time to prevent a threat to the event. He may use different methods for its elimination: slow down smoothly and quickly, to maneuver and so on. At the same dangerous situation, the driver can prevent the event, using only the rapid and drastic action. And of course, the choice of such action, the driver is unable to take into account their possible implications for other road users. (Do we think that behind us someone is moving, when we see the pedestrian across the road and jam on the brakes? "Of course not.) But, given the fact that there are two kinds of danger - a subjective and objective, they should be considered for differently. Objective danger road section. This risk is determined by the number of accidents at a specific site, which occurred over a certain period of time. In assessing performance, traffic police publishes statistics, to demonstrate the most dangerous accident sites. Passing them, the driver of potentially ready for danger. For an objective assessment and observations are repeated accidents or emergency situations, not leading to an accident at a particular site. Agree that each of us knows these places in your city. Subjective assessment of the situation often does not meet the current, ie, objective. For example, there are such turns of the road, which at first glance do not portend danger, but in fact the wrong impression, since the actual angle of rotation on the fact much more than it seems. It is at such sites, and accidents occur. On the other hand, there are areas where the danger is obvious. For example, runs a two-lane road, there are vehicles which are taking place for loading and unloading, repairing roads, or similar circumstances. On this stretch of road is usually all slow down and, thus, reduce the danger of an objective situation. Failure to accurately determine the driver's degree of danger may be the cause of the accident. At the traffic situation often encountered (for example, the most common - the unexpected exit at the pedestrian traffic area), the danger of which is insignificant, but possible. How do drivers behave in such situations? All depends on where the events. Imagine a sharp turn. Across the road, trees, poles stand, perhaps in turn set a stall, so do not see that around the bend. The width of the carriageway standard. The intensity of the movement a little (not yards, of course). It is at such sites a driver who goes first, choose the speed that allows you to stop the car at the sudden appearance of oncoming traffic on the road. Those who often travels this road and knows that the probability of the oncoming car is small, approaching the turn to the speed at which the passing of oncoming traffic would be almost impossible, is risking much - it evaluates only the risk of transport and how to be a risk associated with pedestrians? Most drivers ignore the speed pattern in the dark. Most drivers are moving at a speed that far exceeds the safe, that is, one that would stop before a collision with a pedestrian suddenly arisen. The probability of sudden appearance of a pedestrian on the road, many drivers are seen as an unexpected phenomenon, so it simply is not taken into account. That triggered a Russian "maybe", or something else. I do not know. Maybe too much confidence. But surely many of us, seeing a serious accident, some time move more slowly than usual, more carefully evaluating the traffic situation. It is obvious that young drivers overestimate their skills, which should compensate for errors, and often get into accidents. Once, at the very beginning, when I sat behind the wheel, I thought I already drive a good car and can afford a little more than foolhardiness. Even after several accidents, I continued to go well, until one clever person did not say: "You learn to drive slowly and normally. Learn to assess the road situation, and then going to drive "... I listened to him. I learned to basically correct drive, and only then began to allow himself a little more. Now this phrase I say to all! I wish you a trouble-free ride! Good luck on the road!
